My first blog interview

Guys! Last week this lovely girl called Amanda from Atlanta, Georgia asked me if I
wanted to interview each other and of course I sayd yes!
Here I'm posting her interview and mine is on her blog. Click here to see it
I hope you enjoy both!

Amanda, when did you start blogging and why?
I started my blog in September. I read magazines and read the articles thinking about how I could write articles like those ones. I felt like that even some of those articles could have been written better so I figured “why wait, I should write some articles?”, since I loved writing and loved fashion, I started this blog. Even though I don’t think I will be a magazine article writer, I might as well be one on blogspot!

Describe your style..
My style I would describe as classy, chic, and some days a little vintage. I wear a lot of grays, blacks, and cream colored pieces. But if I’m wearing a lot of black, I’ll try to put a pop of color in it. Such as a colorful bag, clutch or jewelry piece. I love to express myself through my style. I think it’s fun…

Who are your style inspirations?
Oh wow, that’s a hard question. Well to start off….ALL of the Gossip Girl characters. My friends at home. Coco Channel. And last but not least, Rachel Zoe

Where do you buy your clothes?
Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Zara, Garage sales, Pimpkie, Forever 21, Nordstorm, Papaya, thrift stores (don‘t make fun, but they DO have some pretty good stuff if you look hard enough), TJMax, Neiman Marcus.

What is #1 on your fashion wish list at the moment?
A new pea coat, bright colored pencil skirts, a fur coat, a small brown messenger bag, and let’s just say that my list could go on and that my Christmas list will be long ;) but I really would like some olive colored shooties soon ( shooties if you don’t know are small ankle boots but just I like to say shooties because I think it’s cuter haha)

Apart from blogging, what do you spend your time doing?
I paint, go out with friends and I love my work. I work at an event planning business so I spend my weekends at weddings and looking at gorgeous grooms men! Love it! Lol
I design clothes and TRY to make them… sometimes it doesn’t always work out but sometimes it turns out great.
I meet friends at this one coffee shop every week. I love my traditions.

If you were hosting a dinner party, who would your ideal guests be and why?
Jersey Shore people ( everyone needs a little bit of drama at a party), Jesus (to keep the Jersey Shore people under control). Scooby doo ( to eat all the leftovers) hahah and of course the fab Coco Chanel.

What can you not live without?
Probably my computer.

Now for a random question! If you could be any animal, what would you be?
A bird, I would like to just be able to fly wherever I want to…

Anything else you'd like to add Amanda?

To me, fashion is not what’s IN style. It’s YOUR style. It’s also the way you carry yourself. Don’t always try to fit in with what's “new”. I think making yourself stand out in your own personal style is fashion. Fashion is not only for the slim and trim, it’s for the plush fit crowd too. For instance, if you are overweight, the “wearing leggings as pants” style is not for you. Just pick what looks great on your body and people will always view your style as fashionable. When you wear something what makes you stand out in a crowd, it gives you a feeling that you are dressing with a purpose. Clothes are more than just a fashion statement so investing time and money in your clothing is essential to fashion.
